Kuitukaapeli EFB Elektronik O0481.2 2 m LC ruskea vihreä harmaa punainen turkoosi violetti valkoinen keltainen

The EFB Elektronik O0481.2 is a 2 m OS2 fibre optic cable with LC connectors and a 9 µm core diameter, designed for high-speed single-mode data transmission. The cable includes 12 coloured pigtails with dyed fibers of 900 μm and 250 μm diameters in red, green, yellow, white, grey, brown, violet, turquoise, black, orange and pink, meeting DIN VDE 0888. Each packing unit contains an individual measuring protocol.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides precise colour coding for easy identification in complex installations, supports single-mode OS2 transmission over a 9 µm core for reliable high-speed links, and is supplied with a measuring protocol for quality traceability. The LC connectors and 2 m length make it suitable for short patching and equipment interconnects.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and server connections
• Telecommunications and backbone links requiring OS2 single-mode
• Laboratory and measurement setups where colour-coded pigtails simplify handling
• Network equipment interconnects and short-range fibre runs (2 m)

How to use

Route the 2 m LC-terminated fibre cable between devices or patch panels, ensuring connectors and mating adapters are clean and undamaged. Use the colour-coded pigtails to identify fibres during termination or splicing. Observe standard handling precautions for single-mode fibres: avoid tight bends, secure the cable to prevent strain, and store dust caps on connectors when not in use.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, clean LC connector endfaces before mating, follow DIN VDE 0888 handling guidelines, and keep the 250 μm and 900 μm dyed fibre sections protected during termination. Use the supplied measuring protocol to verify insertion loss and continuity after installation.
