Kuitukaapelin ulkoseinäjakorasia EFB Elektronik FTTH, 2x SC Simplex tai LC Duplex, IP65

Outdoor wall-mounted FTTH fiber optic distribution box by EFB Elektronik provides a protected termination point for fiber access lines. The compact enclosure accepts two connector options: 2x SC simplex or LC duplex via adapters, enabling simple patching or direct connector termination in exterior environments. With an IP65 rating, the box resists dust and water ingress for reliable outdoor use on building walls, poles or street cabinets. The neutral design supports residential and small-business FTTH deployments where a secure, visible distribution point is required.

Advantages

The enclosure supports flexible connector configurations (SC simplex or LC duplex) using adapter plates, allowing technicians to adapt to local connector standards without replacing the housing. Its IP65 protection ensures resistance to dust and low-pressure water jets, reducing the risk of environmental damage to fiber terminations. The internal layout accommodates simple patching and secure connector locking, while the robust outer shell and mounting provisions make wall installation straightforward and durable.

Suitable for

• Residential FTTH termination points on exterior walls
• Small-business fiber access and demarcation points
• Street cabinet or pole-mounted fiber distribution when a compact outdoor box is needed
• On-site patching or connectorized splices for last-mile installations

Key specifications

• Connector support: 2x SC simplex or LC duplex via adapters
• Ingress protection: IP65 (dust-tight, protection against water jets)
• Mounting type: wall-mounted outdoor enclosure
• Material: durable weather-resistant polymer housing
• Capacity: space for two connector terminations and basic cable management
• Access: lockable or screw-secured lid for tamper resistance

How to use

Mount the distribution box on a suitable exterior surface using the provided fixing points and appropriate fasteners for the substrate. Route the incoming fiber cable through the sealed cable entry, secure the cable with the built-in strain relief, and perform fiber termination using SC or LC adapters as required. Arrange fibers on the internal management area to avoid sharp bends and secure the cover to restore IP65 protection. For splicing jobs, use a splice tray or protective sleeve inside the enclosure and ensure all closures are sealed after work is complete.

Recommendations

Install the box at a height and location that minimizes accidental impact and provides easy access for maintenance. Verify connector type before ordering adapters, and follow standard fiber handling and safety procedures (cleaning connectors, using proper bend radii, and wearing eye protection when working with live fibers).
