Kutistesukkasetti KS Tools 970.0540 – 100 kpl, lajiteltuja värillisiä kokoja

Heat shrink tubing set ks tools 970.0540 — 100 pieces, assorted colored sizes contains a selection of heat-shrinkable insulating tubes in multiple diameters and colours. The set is intended for insulating and protecting electrical connections, repairing wiring, bundling cables and marking circuits by color. Tubing shrinks uniformly when heated to provide mechanical protection, strain relief and a compact finish for splices, terminals and exposed conductors.

Advantages

The kit includes 100 pieces in assorted sizes and colours, enabling quick selection for different wire diameters and color-coding needs. Made from heat-shrinkable polymer, the tubing delivers reliable insulation and improved mechanical resistance after shrinking. Pieces are lightweight and flexible before shrinking, allowing easy placement over connectors or wire joins; after heat application they form a snug, protective layer that resists abrasion and helps prevent short circuits. The assortment reduces the need to buy separate diameters and colours for routine electrical, automotive and DIY tasks.

Suitable for

• Insulating soldered joins and crimped terminals
• Repairing damaged cable jackets and exposed conductors
• Colour-coding wires for identification and organisation
• Cable bundling and providing strain relief at connector points
• Automotive wiring, household electrical repairs and hobby electronics

Key specifications

• Quantity: 100 pieces in assorted sizes
• Material: heat-shrinkable polymer (polyolefin-type shrink tubing)
• Colour: assorted (multiple colours for identification)
• Function: electrical insulation, mechanical protection, strain relief
• Shrink ratio: typical 2:1 (shrinks to approximately half the original diameter when heated)
• Operating temperature range: suitable for common electrical applications (use heat source within recommended temperature for polymer)

How to use

Select a tube diameter slightly larger than the unshrunk wire or connector, slide the appropriate piece over the join, and then apply heat evenly using a heat gun, hot-air tool or controlled flame at a safe distance until the tubing contracts and conforms to the shape beneath. Allow the tubing to cool to form a secure insulating sleeve. For multiple layers or reinforced protection, use overlapping pieces and ensure complete coverage of exposed conductors and terminal points.

Recommendations

Use a temperature-controlled heat gun for consistent results and avoid direct contact of an open flame with the tubing to prevent scorching. Choose tubing with a shrink ratio and post-shrink diameter suitable for the wire gauge in question. For permanent outdoor or high-temperature applications, verify material compatibility and consider additional sealing or adhesive-lined variants if moisture ingress protection is required.
