Kuusiokoloavainsarja KS Tools 151.4560 9 kpl

The Hex Key Set KS Tools 151.4560 9 pcs is a compact collection of nine L-shaped hex keys manufactured from durable steel with chrome plating to improve corrosion resistance and surface durability. Weighing approximately 560 g, the set is designed to deliver consistent fit and reliable torque transfer for fastening and adjustment tasks in workshops, garages, and home toolboxes. The assortment covers common metric sizes to support general maintenance and assembly jobs.

Advantages

This hex key set offers a balance of strength and precision thanks to its hardened steel construction and chrome-plated finish that reduces rust and wear. The L-shape design provides both reach and leverage for tight fastenings, while the consistent key dimensions ensure accurate engagement with hex fasteners. The set’s compact format makes it easy to store and transport, allowing quick access during professional repairs or DIY projects.

Suitable for

• Assembly and disassembly of furniture and equipment with metric hex fasteners
• Automotive maintenance tasks that require precise torque control
• Electronics repair and adjustment of fixtures with small to medium hex screws
• General workshop and home maintenance where reliable hex keys are needed

Key specifications

• Number of pieces: 9
• Material: hardened steel with chrome plating
• Design: L-shaped (long arm and short arm for leverage and reach)
• Weight: approximately 560 g (set)
• Finish: corrosion-resistant chrome surface
• Fit: metric hex profile for standard hex fasteners

How to use

Select the hex key that snugly matches the hex fastener to avoid rounding or slipping. Use the short arm for maximum torque when loosening or tightening stubborn bolts; use the long arm for reach and access in confined spaces. Insert the key fully into the fastener before applying force and keep the key perpendicular to the screw head to ensure correct engagement. For repetitive or precision tasks, apply steady, controlled torque rather than sudden force.

Recommendations

Do not use rounded or damaged keys on worn fasteners; replace any key that shows visible wear or deformation. Store the set in a dry place to preserve the chrome finish and periodically clean the keys after heavy use. For higher torque requirements, consider using the short arm for leverage and take care to avoid over-torquing delicate fasteners.
