Kuva-audio-BNC-sovitin ShiverPeaks 98808-2 keskusasennus 4 mm etulevy

The ShiverPeaks Video Audio BNC Adapter 98808-2 is a front-panel, centrally mounted BNC connector designed for routing composite video and analog audio signals through equipment racks, control panels, and AV housings. With a 4 mm front panel footprint and robust BNC interface, it provides a standardized pass-through point for cameras, monitors, recorders and other AV devices where a secure, accessible connection is required.

Advantages

This centrally mounted adapter offers a compact 4 mm front-panel footprint that simplifies installation in tight panel layouts. The BNC coupling ensures a reliable, quick-connect mechanical and electrical connection for composite video and analog audio signals. Constructed for rack and panel use, the adapter supports consistent signal routing and easy access for maintenance or reconfiguration without opening enclosures.

Suitable for

• AV equipment racks and wall-mounted control panels
• Surveillance camera systems and DVR/NVR installations
• Broadcast and production panels requiring standardized video connectors
• Repair benches and test setups needing front-panel signal feedthrough

Key specifications

• Connector type: BNC front-panel jack suitable for composite video and analog audio
• Mounting style: central/front-panel mounting with 4 mm footprint
• Intended use: panel feedthrough for equipment racks and AV housings
• Mechanical interface: standard bayonet-style BNC coupling for secure connections
• Compatibility: designed for devices and cables using standard BNC terminations

How to use

Drill or prepare the front panel opening to match the adapter's 4 mm central mounting footprint and secure the adapter using its central fastening method. From the rear side, connect the BNC cable from the internal device or wiring harness to the adapter's BNC socket. From the front side, attach an external BNC plug to complete the signal path. Ensure connections are seated fully and check signal integrity with the intended video or audio equipment before finalizing installation.

Recommendations

For best performance, use properly terminated 75 Ω BNC cables for composite video and matched-impedance audio lines where applicable. Avoid excessive torque on the connector during installation and verify grounding and shielding continuity in rack or panel configurations to minimise interference.
