KVM-kytkin ATEN CL1308N telakointiasennus musta PS/2 USB VGA

The ATEN CL1308N is a 1U rack-mountable KVM switch with an integrated 19-inch LED-backlit LCD, full keyboard and touchpad, designed to provide console access to multiple servers while saving rack space. It supports both PS/2 and USB connections and VGA video with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200. The unit can control up to 8 directly and, when cascaded with up to 8 additional CL1308 switches, supports control of up to 128 computers from a single keyboard-monitor-mouse console.

Advantages

The CL1308N combines monitor, keyboard and touchpad in a single 1U sliding housing to minimize footprint in server racks and reduce cabling complexity. It supports both PS/2 and USB peripherals and VGA video, intercepts keyboard input without software drivers, and allows quick switching via front-panel buttons, hotkey combinations, or a multilingual on-screen display (OSD). Its AC operation (100–240 V) and support for cascading expand scalability without additional consoles.

Suitable for

• Server rooms and data centers with limited rack space
• IT administrators who need centralized console access to multiple servers
• Environments using a mix of PS/2 and USB peripherals
• Setups requiring VGA video support up to 1920 x 1200 resolution

How to use

Install the CL1308N into a standard 19-inch rack using an appropriate rack mount kit, then connect each server to the KVM switch using the supplied KVM cables (VGA plus PS/2 or USB as applicable). Plug the console keyboard, mouse and monitor into the front panel. Power the unit from an AC source within the specified 100–240 V range. No additional software is required; the device intercepts keyboard input directly. Switch between connected computers using the front-panel push buttons, keyboard hotkeys, or the OSD menu.

Recommendations

For expanded installations, cascade up to eight CL1308 units to control up to 128 computers from a single console. Use the correct KVM cable types for each server (PS/2 for keyboards, USB for mice) and ensure VGA cabling supports the desired resolution. Optional rack mount kits are available if needed for specific mounting configurations.
