KVM-kytkin Digitus DS-12883 4 porttia Dual Display 4K HDMI USB

The DIGITUS DS-12883 4-Port KVM Switch Dual Display (HDMI) lets you operate four computers with dual-monitor setups using a single USB keyboard and mouse. The unit supports up to 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) at 30 Hz with FreeSync, provides two HDMI outputs for dual displays, audio connections for microphone and speaker, an integrated USB-A port for additional peripherals, and status LEDs on the front panel. The sturdy metal housing and plug-and-play operation eliminate frequent cable replugging and do not require driver installation.

Advantages

The KVM switch enables seamless switching between four 4K-capable systems via a front-panel switch or keyboard hotkey, saving desk space and reducing cable handling. Built-in USB ports let you share a keyboard and mouse as well as external storage devices between active systems. Audio routing supports microphone and speaker connections with formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio. The device is compact, has a robust metal enclosure, and requires no additional software for operation.

No driver installation is required; the switch operates via BIOS-level hardware connections (Plug and Play).

Recommendations

For stable 4K output, use high-quality HDMI cables rated for 4K and ensure source graphics cards support 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz. Place the KVM switch on a stable surface with adequate ventilation and connect power to the AC input. When sharing external drives, safely eject the device from the active computer before switching to avoid data loss.
