KVM-kytkin Inter-Tech KVM-LS-21DA DVI

The Inter-Tech KVM-LS-21DA DVI KVM switch enables control of two computers from a single USB keyboard and USB mouse while outputting video via DVI-I. Designed for compact integration into desktop or rack-side setups, it supports a maximum video resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels at 60 Hz. The switch is finished in black and has a small footprint with dimensions of approximately 85 mm x 80 mm x 30 mm and a weight around 0.32 kg, making it suitable for environments where space conservation and straightforward switching between systems are required.

Advantages

The KVM-LS-21DA DVI provides reliable switching between two computers using standard USB keyboard and mouse connections and DVI-I video, reducing the need for duplicate input devices and monitors. Its compact size and modest weight simplify placement beside monitors or on crowded desks. The support for up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz ensures clear image quality for typical office, control room, or multimedia tasks where DVI-I connectivity is available.

Suitable for

• Small office or home office setups requiring control of two PCs with one keyboard and mouse
• Workstations where DVI-I monitors are used and a compact KVM solution is preferred
• Control desks and service points that need quick switching between systems

How to use

Connect the DVI-I video cable from each computer to the corresponding DVI input on the KVM switch and plug the USB keyboard and USB mouse into the designated USB ports on the switch. Attach the monitor to the DVI output and power on the connected computers. Use the KVM switch control method (button, hotkey or front panel — as provided by the device) to toggle active control between the two computers. Ensure cables are seated firmly and that display settings on each computer are configured to match the supported resolution.

Recommendations

Place the KVM-LS-21DA DVI close to the monitor and keyboard for easy access, and use quality DVI-I and USB cables to maintain signal integrity. When connecting systems with different graphics settings, set each computer to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz or a compatible resolution to avoid display scaling issues. For environments with frequent switching, periodically check cable connections to prevent wear-related signal loss.
