How to use

Connect the sender unit to the host PC using the required video and USB or PS/2 connections for keyboard and mouse, then connect the receiver to the user’s display and peripherals. Link the two units with a single Cat cable rated for the installation distance and ensure both units are powered. After connection, configure display settings on the host PC as needed; the extender preserves EDID information so native resolutions are maintained where supported.

Recommendations

Use a high-quality, properly shielded Cat cable (Cat6a or better recommended) for reliable performance at longer distances and to maintain the full 18 Gbps bandwidth. Keep cable runs away from strong electromagnetic interference sources and verify power stability for both sender and receiver to avoid signal interruptions.
