Kylmälaukku Dometic TropiCool Classic TCX 21 20L

The Dometic TropiCool Classic TCX 21 20L is a compact electric cool box designed for versatile use at home, in vehicles and outdoors. With a usable capacity of 21 litres and a lightweight design, it provides cooling and heating functions in a single unit. The cooler runs on AC and DC power sources, features soft-touch controls with a digital display, and operates quietly at around 41 dB. Its compact footprint (450 mm x 303 mm x 420 mm) and silver-and-black finish make it suitable for transport and integration into a variety of leisure and travel situations.

Advantages

The TropiCool TCX series combines energy-saving electronics and an intelligent power-save circuit to reduce battery drain while maintaining reliable cooling performance. It cools efficiently down to approximately 27 °C below ambient temperature and can also heat up to +65 °C, offering both refrigeration and warming in one appliance. Safety features include protection against deep battery discharge and reverse polarity protection for AC and DC connections. A wear-resistant fan ensures dynamic interior ventilation and steady temperature control, and the unit remembers user presets with a memory feature.

Suitable for

• Camping and caravanning trips where compact, multi-function cooling is needed
• Picnics, beach days and outdoor gatherings requiring portable refrigeration
• Road trips and long drives using vehicle DC power
• Home use as a secondary fridge or for temporary cooling/heating needs
• Situations where a quiet, low-noise cooler is preferred

Observe the manufacturer’s recommendations for ventilation clearance around the cooler and avoid prolonged operation in extreme ambient temperatures beyond the device’s specified range.

Recommendations

For best energy efficiency and to prolong battery life when running on DC power, pre-chill items where possible and avoid repeatedly opening the lid. Position the cooler on a stable, level surface and ensure adequate airflow around the housing. When using the heating function, place heat-resistant items inside and check temperature settings periodically.
