Kynäharja KWB 599300 2 cm teräsharja

The KWB 599300 pencil brush has a 2 cm diameter and 0.3 mm steel wire, designed for precise cleaning and surface preparation. It is suitable for working inside pipes, radiators and other confined spaces as well as on metal and stone surfaces where removal of rust, paint, scale and roughening for welding or brazing is needed.

Advantages

Crimped steel-wire bristles provide effective abrasive action while maintaining flexibility for access into narrow spaces. The compact 2 cm wheel allows accurate control for detail work and the 0.3 mm wire thickness balances durability with fine contact for surface levelling and cleaning. Compatible with standard rotary tools and suitable for repeated use in light to medium duty tasks.

How to use

Mount the pencil brush on a compatible rotary tool according to the tool manufacturer's instructions. Operate at the recommended speed for wire brushes and apply light, consistent pressure; avoid forcing the brush to prevent wire breakage and damage to the workpiece. Move the brush smoothly along the surface or inside the pipe to remove rust, paint or scale and to level irregularities.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment including safety glasses, gloves and a dust mask. Do not exceed the maximum safe speed indicated by the rotary tool or brush supplier. For best results on thin sheet metal, test on a scrap piece first and use minimal pressure to avoid deformation.
