La Sportiva Prodigio polkujuoksukengät miehille - musta/keltainen

Ultra-distance trail running demands footwear that balances plush cushioning, energetic response, and rugged durability. The La Sportiva Prodigio delivers this rare combination through its XFlow™ super-critical foam midsole and FriXion® Red outsole, making it a standout choice for runners who tackle long, technical terrain. Unlike many maximalist shoes that sacrifice ground feel, the Prodigio maintains a 6 mm drop and 3.5 mm lugs for confident traction without losing agility.

Highlights

• XFlow™ super-critical foam midsole: high energy return and durable cushioning for ultra distances.
• FriXion® Red rubber outsole with differentiated 3.5 mm lugs: reliable grip on mixed terrain, from hardpack to loose rock.
• Breathable mesh upper with abrasion-resistant reinforcements: keeps feet cool and protected on technical trails.
• Ortholite® Hybrid Mountain Running Ergonomic 4 mm footbed: adds comfort and moisture management.
• Medium/Comfort fit with traditional lace-up closure: secure, customizable lockdown for long runs.

In daily use

On rolling singletrack and rocky descents, the Prodigio feels stable and lively. The 34 mm heel stack and 28 mm forefoot stack provide ample protection from sharp impacts, while the rockered geometry promotes a smooth transition. The non-slip mesh lining prevents internal slippage, and the breathable upper keeps feet dry during high-output efforts. Whether you're logging a 50K training week or racing a mountain ultra, this shoe supports your stride mile after mile.
