Laajeneva ankkuri Fischer DUOPOWER 6 x 50

The Fischer DUOPOWER 6 x 50 expansion anchor is a two-component nylon plug engineered to provide reliable fixing performance in concrete and similar base materials. The grey high-quality nylon element automatically activates the optimum anchoring function—expansion, folding or knotting—depending on the substrate, while the red expansion wings support secure spreading and add stability. The 50 mm length and 6 mm drill diameter suit typical concrete installations; the kit size of 100 pieces is intended for larger tasks and repeated use.

Advantages

The two-component design combines intelligent activation and mechanical expansion for consistently high load values. Pre-shaped edge on the plug head prevents the plug from slipping into the drill hole during installation. The anchor allows easy screwing and correct tightening without risk of over-tightening the screw, ensuring predictable clamping behaviour. Durable material composition provides long-term reliability in fixed installations.

Suitable for

• Fixing fixtures and fittings in concrete
• Fastening frames, rails and light structural elements
• Interior and exterior mounting where 6 mm anchors are specified

Key specifications

• Brand: FISCHER
• Model: DUOPOWER 6 x 50
• MPN: 538250
• EAN: 4048962262179
• Length: 50 mm
• Drill hole diameter: 6 mm
• Minimum drill hole depth: 60 mm
• Material: nylon (plug) with metal-compatible screw use
• Pack quantity: 100 pieces

How to use

Drill a 6 mm hole to at least the minimum depth of 60 mm in the chosen base material, then clean the hole of dust. Insert the DUOPOWER plug until the pre-shaped edge rests on the surface. Choose a screw of the correct diameter and length, then drive it in; the grey component will activate the appropriate anchoring mechanism while the red wings expand to secure the plug. Tighten the screw until the fixture is clamped without over-tightening.

Recommendations

Check the base material before installation to confirm suitability for 6 x 50 anchors. For load-critical or safety-relevant applications, follow relevant standards and calculate anchorage loads according to manufacturer guidelines or consult a structural engineer.
