Laboratoriovirtalähde Voltcraft SPS 1525 PFC — säädettävä 3–15 V DC, 2–25 A lähtö

The Voltcraft SPS 1525 PFC is a laboratory DC power supply providing an adjustable output from 3 V to 15 V and an output current range of 2 A to 25 A. It is built for bench-top use in testing, prototyping and electronics repair, offering regulated DC output and power factor correction (PFC) to ensure stable operation under varying loads. The unit combines compact footprint and robust electrical control to support development tasks that require precise voltage and current control.

Advantages

The supply offers a wide adjustable voltage span and a high current capability, enabling work with low-voltage circuits and higher-current loads without changing equipment. Integrated power factor correction improves input-side efficiency and reduces mains distortion. The front-panel controls permit accurate setting of voltage and current limits, while built-in protections help prevent damage from overload or short-circuit conditions. The design supports consistent voltage regulation across the specified load range for repeatable test conditions.

Suitable for

• Electronics prototyping and circuit development
• Component testing and characterization
• Repair and troubleshooting of low-voltage devices
• Bench power for small motors, LEDs and sensors
• Educational laboratory exercises and experiments

Key specifications

• Output voltage: adjustable from 3 V to 15 V DC
• Output current: adjustable range 2 A to 25 A
• Regulation: stabilized DC output with current limiting
• Power factor correction (PFC): integrated for improved mains behaviour
• Control: front-panel adjustable knobs for voltage and current
• Protections: overload and short-circuit protection
• Form factor: bench-top laboratory power supply

How to use

Connect the supply to the mains according to the local power requirements and ensure proper earthing. Use the output terminals to connect the device under test, observing correct polarity. Set the voltage control to the required DC output within the 3–15 V range. Adjust the current limit to a value appropriate for the load; the unit will operate in constant-voltage mode until the set current limit is reached, then switch to constant-current limiting to protect the load. Monitor the front-panel indicators while adjusting settings and during operation.

Recommendations

For reliable results, allow the supply to warm up briefly after power-up before making precise measurements. Start with the current limit set lower than the expected load current and increase gradually. Maintain adequate ventilation around the unit and avoid operating near the upper limits of both voltage and current continuously to prolong service life.
