Laminaattori gbc 240HS A3 — kuuma-/termolaminaattori asiakirjoille A3 asti

The gbc 240HS A3 is a thermal laminator for documents up to A3 size. It performs hot lamination to protect and stiffen printed materials, photos, signs and instructional sheets. Designed for office, school and home use, the unit accepts single sheets and small batches and produces laminated items with improved durability, water resistance and a finished appearance.

Advantages

The laminator provides a fast warm-up time and stable temperature control for consistent results on a range of pouch thicknesses. Its A3 capacity accommodates larger prints and posters without trimming, while the hot/thermal process creates a resilient seal that increases tear resistance and moisture protection. The unit’s straightforward feed mechanism and compact footprint make it easy to integrate into shared workspaces and small offices.

Suitable for

• Laminating instructional sheets and classroom materials
• Protecting menus, signs and posters up to A3 size
• Preserving photos, certificates and reference documents
• Preparing durable labels, ID cards and small batch print runs

Key specifications

• Maximum document size: A3
• Lamination method: hot / thermal lamination
• Accepts a variety of pouch thicknesses for different rigidity levels
• Designed for single sheets and small batch processing
• Compact design suitable for desktop placement

How to use

Place the laminator on a flat, stable surface and connect it to a grounded power outlet. Allow the unit to warm up until the ready indicator shows the correct operating temperature for hot lamination. Insert the document into a compatible thermal pouch, align the contents and feed the sealed edge first into the laminator’s input slot. Guide the pouch smoothly until the rollers engage and complete the lamination process. After lamination, allow the laminated item to cool flat on a clean surface before handling to ensure the seal sets correctly.

Recommendations

Use pouches appropriate for the desired stiffness and protection level; check pouch manufacturer recommendations for temperature compatibility. For best results with printed materials, allow ink to dry fully before laminating and avoid overfeeding multiple thick items at once. Store the laminator in a dust-free environment and perform periodic cleaning of rollers according to the user manual to maintain consistent lamination quality.
