Lämmityskaapeli AS Schwabe 67011 230 V sähköinen saattolämmityskaapeli pakkasensuojaukseen

Electric trace heating cable AS Schwabe 67011 230 V is designed for frost protection of pipes, gutters and small outdoor installations. The cable operates from a 230 V supply and provides localized heat along runs to prevent freezing and reduce the risk of burst pipes or ice build-up. It is suitable for use where targeted warming is needed rather than full-area heating and can be installed along metal or plastic pipes, inside gutters, or on exposed fittings.

Advantages

The AS Schwabe heating cable delivers consistent heat output along its length to maintain temperatures above freezing point in exposed sections. Its 230 V design allows direct connection to standard mains circuits, simplifying power supply. The product is compact and flexible for installation in confined spaces and along irregular pipe routes. It provides energy-efficient, on-demand frost protection by applying heat only where required.

How to use

Secure the heating cable along the length of the pipe or gutter requiring frost protection, following manufacturer guidance for spacing and attachment methods. For efficient operation, ensure good thermal contact between the cable and the surface to be protected; use compatible pipe clips or adhesive tapes rated for outdoor use. Connect the cable to a 230 V supply through an appropriate power outlet or circuit protected by a residual current device and circuit breaker. If required by local regulations, integrate the cable with a thermostat or temperature controller and follow electrical installation standards.

Recommendations

Inspect the installed cable regularly for damage before each cold season and avoid covering the cable with materials that impede heat dissipation. Use a temperature controller or thermostat to reduce energy consumption and monitor performance. For safety and compliance, have electrical connections and permanent installations carried out or inspected by a qualified electrician.
