LANBERG verkkokaapeli Cat5e U/UTP RJ-45 - RJ-45 20 m harmaa, 26 AWG, CCA-johdin

LANBERG PCU5-10CC-2000-S Cat5e U/UTP RJ-45 to RJ-45 20 m Grey is a 20-metre Ethernet patch cable designed for structured network connections in home and office environments. Compliant with Cat5e standard and built with U/UTP construction, this cable supports reliable data transmission for typical Ethernet speeds and reduces external interference through twisted-pair design. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors, and the grey outer jacket provides an unobtrusive appearance for visible or concealed installations.

Advantages

The Cat5e specification ensures compatibility with Fast Ethernet and common Gigabit setups where Cat5e performance is sufficient. U/UTP construction balances performance and cost by using an unshielded overall with twisted pairs to minimize crosstalk and external noise. The 20 m length offers flexibility for longer runs between switches, routers, patch panels, and end devices without the need for couplers or intermediate hardware. Standard RJ-45 terminations enable plug-and-play use with a wide range of network equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches, routers and network printers across medium to long distances within offices or homes
• Patch panel to wall outlet connections in network cabinets where a 20 m reach is required
• Temporary or permanent cabling runs in meeting rooms, classrooms and coworking spaces

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Construction: U/UTP (unshielded overall, twisted pairs)
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: Grey outer jacket

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device (PC, switch, router or other Ethernet-capable equipment) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the network endpoint. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, excessive pulling, or sharp edges that could damage the jacket or internal pairs. For rack or cabinet installations, use cable management accessories to secure the cable and maintain bend radius.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for long distances and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources. Inspect connectors and jacket for damage before use, and replace the cable if physical damage is found. Use the cable within typical indoor temperature and humidity ranges and follow local installation standards for permanent wiring.
