The PSSO WISE Model 13063407 pocket transmitter is a compact wireless audio device that operates on two licence-free frequency ranges: 823–832 MHz and 863–865 MHz. Designed for bodypack-style mounting, this transmitter provides short-range RF audio transmission for mobile applications where portability and unobtrusive operation are important. It pairs with compatible PSSO receivers and other receivers supporting the same frequency bands to deliver a reliable wireless signal for spoken-word and instrument sources in live events, presentations and mobile recording situations.

Advantages

This pocket transmitter combines a small form factor with straightforward RF operation across the 823–832 MHz and 863–865 MHz bands, enabling flexible deployment in environments that require licence-free wireless audio. Its bodypack design allows discreet mounting on clothing or belts, while stable transmission characteristics reduce dropouts in short-range use. The transmitter is suitable for connecting lavalier microphones or instrument cables through compatible interfaces and offers simple pairing with receivers that support the same frequency ranges.

How to use

Attach the PSSO WISE pocket transmitter to clothing or a belt using the integrated clip, then connect an appropriate lavalier microphone or instrument cable to the transmitter’s audio input. Power the unit with the recommended battery type and switch to the desired frequency band within the supported ranges. On the receiver, select the matching frequency and confirm audio presence and signal strength. Adjust input gain on the transmitter or receiver to achieve the desired level while avoiding clipping. For best results, maintain line-of-sight or minimal obstruction between transmitter and receiver within the expected short-range coverage.

Recommendations

Use the transmitter in environments where the selected frequency ranges are permitted and free from heavy RF congestion. Keep spare batteries on hand for extended use and perform a short spectrum check or trial run before live events to confirm a clean channel and consistent reception.
