Langaton tukiasema Cisco C9124AXI-E 2,4 GHz 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6

The Cisco Catalyst 9124AX Series outdoor access points are rugged Wi‑Fi 6 devices designed for service providers and enterprises that need high-performance wireless coverage in outdoor and high-density environments. The C9124AXI-E model supports dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation with a maximum aggregate data rate of up to 5380 Mbit/s, multigigabit Ethernet uplinks, Power over Ethernet (PoE) installation, integrated Bluetooth Low Energy 5, and advanced RF features for spectrum analysis and interference mitigation.

Advantages

The Catalyst 9124AX Series delivers Wi‑Fi 6 capabilities such as OFDMA, MU‑MIMO, BSS coloring, and Target Wake Time to improve capacity, reduce latency, and extend battery life for IoT devices. Cisco RF ASIC provides built‑in spectrum visibility and wireless security features including CleanAir and wireless intrusion prevention. Multigigabit Ethernet support (including 2.5G) enables higher wired uplink throughput over standard Cat5e cabling, and the rugged enclosure and antenna options (internal or external) offer flexible deployment for mobile clients and wireless backhaul.

Suitable for

• Outdoor public spaces and campus grounds requiring enterprise Wi‑Fi coverage
• Service provider deployments needing high-speed outdoor access and wireless backhaul
• High-density venues with many smartphones, tablets, and IoT devices
• Environments requiring location services such as asset tracking and analytics

How to use

Mount the access point in a suitable outdoor location following the manufacturer’s mechanical and environmental guidelines. Connect the device to your network using the RJ‑45 Ethernet uplink and provide power via a compatible PoE switch or injector that can supply the required wattage. Configure wireless settings, security (WPA3 and other supported algorithms), and RF policies through Cisco DNA Center or the supported controller/management platform. Choose internal or external antennas as needed and verify coverage and performance with the built‑in RF monitoring tools.

Recommendations

Deploy the C9124AXI-E with multigigabit PoE and proper antenna selection for optimal throughput; use Cisco DNA management and RF tools to tune channel planning, enable Wi‑Fi 6 features (OFDMA, MU‑MIMO, BSS coloring), and apply security policies. For battery‑sensitive IoT devices, enable Target Wake Time to reduce power consumption.
