Lattakaapeli Tecline 71034R – 1,27 mm jako, AWG 28, 34 johdinta, 30,5 m

Flat ribbon cable Tecline 71034R is a multi-conductor flexible cable with 34 parallel wires, 1.27 mm conductor pitch and AWG 28 wire gauge. Supplied in a 30.5 m length, this ribbon cable is intended for internal wiring, signal and low-voltage connections where compact, ordered parallel conductors are required. The flat construction keeps conductor order and simplifies termination to multi-pin headers and IDC connectors commonly used on PCBs and in electronic enclosures.

Advantages

The ribbon format provides consistent spacing and predictable routing while minimizing bulk compared with equivalent round cables. AWG 28 conductors deliver a balance of flexibility and current-carrying capability suitable for signal and low-voltage circuits. The fixed 1.27 mm pitch matches standard 50 mil board and connector spacing, enabling straightforward termination to IDC or crimp-style connectors without individual conductor handling.

Suitable for

• Internal wiring of electronic devices and control panels
• Connections between PCBs using IDC ribbon connectors or headers
• Prototyping and test rigs where parallel signal routing is needed
• Low-voltage and logic-level signal distribution

Key specifications

• Number of conductors: 34 parallel cores
• Conductor pitch: 1.27 mm (50 mil)
• Wire gauge: AWG 28
• Total length: 30.5 m
• Cable type: flat ribbon, parallel conductors
• Typical use: internal signal and low-voltage wiring

How to use

Measure and cut the required length from the 30.5 m roll, taking care to keep an even cut perpendicular to the conductors. For termination, align the ribbon to the IDC or crimp connector so that the 1.27 mm pitch matches the connector spacing, then press the connector to pierce insulation and make contact with each conductor. When soldering to headers, separate or stagger conductors as needed for neat solder joints and strain relief. Secure the cable inside enclosures with cable ties or adhesive mounts to prevent movement and abrasion.

Recommendations

Use the cable for signal and low-voltage applications within the conductor's current and temperature ratings; avoid exposure to liquids, high temperatures, and mechanical abrasion. For long runs or environments with electrical noise, consider routing alongside ground conductors or adding shielding at connector ends. When using IDC connectors, verify connector compatibility with 1.27 mm pitch and AWG 28 conductors before assembly.
