LED-rengasvalo Godox LR160B 160W 5500K valokuvaus- ja videovalaisuun

Godox LR160B is a 160W LED ring light with a fixed 5500K daylight color temperature designed for photography and video lighting. Its circular design delivers even, soft illumination that reduces shadows and creates consistent catchlights, making it suitable for portrait, product, beauty and content-creation workflows. The light provides a stable daylight-balanced output intended for studio and on-location work where color consistency and smooth skin rendering are important.

Advantages

The LR160B delivers a high-power 160W output in a ring form factor that distributes light evenly around the subject, minimizing harsh shadows and producing a characteristic circular catchlight. With a fixed 5500K color temperature, the lamp ensures predictable daylight-balanced rendering without the need for color adjustment. Its design is compact for a ring light and can be mounted on standard stands, providing flexible positioning for portraits, close-ups and tabletop product photography.

Suitable for

• Portrait and headshot photography where soft, even illumination and circular catchlights are desired
• Makeup and beauty shots requiring consistent daylight-balanced color
• Product and flat-lay photography for reduced shadows and uniform coverage
• Vlogging, live streaming and video interviews with on-camera talent
• Studio and on-location shoots that require portable, high-output continuous lighting

Key specifications

• Light output: 160 watts (LED system)
• Color temperature: 5500K (fixed daylight)
• Form factor: circular ring design for even frontal illumination
• Light quality: soft, shadow-reducing illumination with uniform catchlights
• Mounting: compatible with standard light stands and brackets (ring-style mounting)
• Use case: continuous lighting for photography and video

How to use

Mount the LR160B on a stable light stand and position it around or in front of the subject to achieve uniform frontal illumination. Adjust the distance between the ring light and the subject to control light falloff and softness; closer placement increases wrap-around light and reduces shadows, while greater distance broadens coverage. Because the fixture has a fixed 5500K color temperature, set your camera white balance to daylight or use a custom white balance for precise color rendering. Combine with diffusers, flags or fill lights if additional contrast control is required.

Recommendations

For portraiture and beauty work, position the camera through the ring center or slightly above the axis to create the typical circular catchlight while maintaining flattering shadow control. For product photography, use the ring light at a lower angle or pair with side fill lights to emphasize surface texture. In video applications, secure the light and cables to avoid movement and check white balance at scene settings to maintain consistent color across takes.
