The LevelOne GVT-2012 Gigabit Media Converter is a single-port, end-span IEEE 802.3at High Power over Ethernet (PoE+) converter with a Gigabit SFP port for fiber connectivity. How to use

Install the GVT-2012 near the network fiber run and insert a compatible SFP module into the SFP slot, then connect the fiber cable to the module. Connect the powered device (PD) to the RJ45 port using standard Ethernet cabling. Provide the required 48–57 V DC input to the converter per installation instructions. Once powered, the converter will forward Gigabit data between the fiber and copper interfaces and supply IEEE 802.3at power to the connected PD through the RJ45 port.
