The Premium USB-C to 1G Ethernet (RJ45) Adapter adds a Gigabit Ethernet port to devices without a built-in RJ45 connector. Designed for modern notebooks and ultraportable computers such as Apple MacBook models, the compact adapter uses a short 0.10 m portsaver cable and a slim ABS plastic housing to provide 1G/1000 Mbps wired network connectivity while protecting the host device's USB-C socket.

Advantages

The adapter delivers stable 1G Ethernet performance on USB-C equipped devices and includes a short strain-relief cable to reduce stress on the device connector. Its ABS housing is lightweight and compact, and the unit is small enough for convenient transport and use with laptops that lack an RJ45 port.

Suitable for

• Connecting a MacBook or other USB-C notebook to a wired LAN
• Video conferencing and VoIP where stable network connection is required
• File transfers and backups on networks up to 1 Gbps
• Temporary network setups where compact adapters are needed

Key specifications

• Interface: USB-C to RJ45 (Ethernet)
• Ethernet speed: 1G / 1000 Mbps
• Cable length: 0.10 m (portsaver)
• Housing material: ABS plastic
• Colour: Black
• Weight: 0.03 kg
• Certifications: FCC, CE

How to use

Plug the USB-C connector into the computer's USB-C port and connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 socket on the adapter. The operating system should detect the adapter automatically; if necessary, install drivers provided by the system or the device manufacturer. Ensure the portsaver cable is aligned to avoid undue bending at the host connector.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, avoid placing mechanical stress on the short portsaver cable and keep the adapter and host port free of dust and liquids. Use the adapter for wired connections when wireless networks are unstable or when maximum throughput and low latency are required.
