Liitin S/CONN HDMI - DVI-D musta CO 77400 ShiverPeaks

The ShiverPeaks Connector S/CONN HDMI - DVI-D Black CO 77400 is an adapter that converts an HDMI plug to a DVI‑D (24+1) jack, providing a wired interface for connecting HDMI source devices to DVI‑D displays. The connector is finished in black and uses gold‑plated contacts to improve conductivity and reduce signal loss, designed for straightforward, reliable transmission of digital video signals without audio support inherent to the DVI‑D standard.

Advantages

This HDMI to DVI‑D adapter features gold‑plated contacts for stable signal transfer and corrosion resistance. Its compact, robust housing offers durability for repeated insertions and secure connections. The design maintains the 24+1 DVI‑D pin configuration to preserve digital video integrity when connecting HDMI sources to DVI‑D monitors or projectors.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops, media players, or graphics cards with HDMI output to DVI‑D monitors or projectors
• Setting up single‑link digital video connections in office, classroom, or home environments
• Temporary or permanent AV installations that require an HDMI‑to‑DVI‑D interface

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI plug to DVI‑D (24+1) jack
• Contact finish: Gold plated
• Signal supported: Digital video (DVI‑D single‑link from HDMI source); no analogue VGA or audio via DVI‑D
• Housing color: Black
• Compatibility: Standard HDMI output to DVI‑D input devices

How to use

Insert the HDMI plug into the HDMI output of your source device and connect the DVI‑D jack to the DVI‑D cable or directly to the DVI‑D input on the display. Ensure both devices are powered off or switched to a safe state before connecting to avoid hot‑plug issues. After physical connection, power on the display and source device, then select the appropriate input on the monitor or projector. Adjust display resolution and refresh rate on the source device if necessary to match the DVI‑D display capabilities.

Recommendations

For reliable results, use a high‑quality DVI‑D cable and avoid excessive bending or strain on the adapter. Note that DVI‑D carries digital video only; audio must be routed separately if required. When using high resolutions, verify that both the source device and the DVI‑D display support the desired resolution and refresh rate.
