Liitin ShiverPeaks verkkoliitin S/CONN 08-51004 Cat 6A työkaluton EasyPull STP

The ShiverPeaks Network Connector S/CONN 08-51004 Cat 6A Tool-less EasyPull STP is a tool-less RJ45 connector designed for fast on-site terminations of shielded twisted‑pair cables. Engineered for Cat 6A performance, this connector supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet and structured cabling tasks where reliable high-speed data transmission and proper shielding continuity are required. The EasyPull feature facilitates cable insertion and helps secure foil or braided shields without crimping tools, enabling efficient installation in data centers, patch panels, and network outlets.

Advantages

The connector enables tool-less assembly, reducing installation time and the need for specialized crimping equipment. Its shielded termination design maintains the integrity of foil and braided shields to minimize electromagnetic interference and ensure consistent network performance at Cat 6A frequencies. The EasyPull assist simplifies conductor alignment and strain relief, improving first-time connection reliability. The compact form factor is compatible with common RJ45 ports and standard structured cabling practices.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet installations
• Shielded twisted‑pair (STP/FTP) cable terminations
• Patch panels, keystone jacks and network outlets
• On-site and rapid deployments where tool-less assembly is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 6A compatible
• Connector type: RJ45, shielded
• Termination: tool-less with EasyPull cable insertion aid
• Supported data rate: up to 10 Gbps
• Cable compatibility: foil-shielded and braided-shielded twisted‑pair cables
• Application: structured cabling for high-speed networks

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the outer jacket to expose the shield and individual pairs according to the specified strip length. Fold the foil or braid back over the jacket and insert the conductors into the connector following the color code and alignment guides. Use the EasyPull feature to ease conductor entry and to seat the shield termination. Once inserted, complete the termination by closing or snapping the connector according to the product’s tool-less mechanism to secure contact with each conductor and the cable shield.

Recommendations

For reliable Cat 6A performance, verify cable pair untwist lengths remain within recommended limits and ensure the shield is properly folded and clamped to maintain continuity. Test each terminated link with a cable tester rated for Cat 6A/10G to confirm performance and shielding effectiveness. Avoid excessive bending near the termination point and follow installation environment standards for humidity and temperature.
