Lindy 30 m kuitu-USB-3.0-kaapeli

The Lindy Fibre Optic USB 3.0 Cable (30m) extends USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1) SuperSpeed connections over long distances while maintaining transfer rates up to 5 Gbps. This 30-metre fibre optic cable uses USB Type A connectors, supports power via a USB A power lead (5 V, 900 mA) and is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices. The cable is suitable for extending 4K webcams and video conferencing equipment and can be daisy-chained with up to three cables (totaling up to 90 m) or combined with a 100 m variant (product no. 43346).

Advantages

The fibre optic construction enables far longer runs than copper USB cables while keeping SuperSpeed transfer performance. A lightweight, flexible jacket simplifies installation through conduits and cable trays and reduces handling strain. Low RFI/EMI emissions allow installation in environments sensitive to interference, and support for isochronous transfer improves timely delivery of audio and video streams.

Suitable for

• Extending USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 connections for 4K webcams and video conferencing systems
• Long-distance USB connections up to 30 m (daisy-chainable up to 90 m)
• Installations requiring low RFI/EMI (broadcast, medical, industrial sites)

Key specifications

• Length: 30 m
• Standard: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0 / USB 3.1 Gen 1)
• Maximum data rate: 5 Gbps
• Connectors: USB Type A (data) with separate USB Type A power lead (5 V, 900 mA)
• Compatibility: Backwards compatible with USB 2.0
• Brand / MPN / EAN: Lindy / 43345 / 4002888433457

How to use

Connect the cable’s USB Type A data connector to the host or hub and the device connector to the peripheral (for example a USB 3.0 webcam). If required, plug the additional USB Type A power lead into a USB 3.0 port or compatible power source to provide up to 5 V at 900 mA. Up to three cables may be connected in series to reach longer distances (total up to 90 m); follow manufacturer guidance when combining different lengths or the 100 m variant (product no. 43346).

Recommendations

Use in environments where low electromagnetic interference is important and avoid sharp bends or tight radii during installation. Verify host and device support for USB 3.2 Gen 1 to achieve full 5 Gbps throughput; otherwise the connection will fall back to the highest mutually supported USB speed.
