Litteä RJ45-Ethernet-kaapeli ShiverPeaks Cat.7 ohut harmaa 15 m

Flat RJ45 Ethernet Cable ShiverPeaks Cat.7 Slim Grey 15 m is a slim, flexible network cable designed to deliver Category 7 performance for wired LAN connections. The cable uses standard RJ45 terminations and a flat profile that makes it easier to route in restricted spaces such as under carpets, along skirting boards or behind furniture. With a 15 metre length and a neutral grey finish, it is intended for home and office environments where a combination of high-speed transmission and discreet installation is required.

Advantages

The flat construction reduces bulk and allows the cable to lie closer to surfaces, simplifying installation in tight or visible areas while minimizing tripping hazards. Category 7 performance supports higher frequencies and improved shielding characteristics compared with lower-category cables, providing reliable throughput for data transfer, video streaming and online gaming. The slim design and flexible jacket make it easier to bend around corners and tuck into narrow gaps without compromising the RJ45 connector compatibility used by common network devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and networked storage (NAS) in home or small office networks
• Fixed or semi-permanent runs along skirting boards, under carpets or behind furniture
• High-bandwidth tasks such as video streaming, large file transfers and online gaming

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.7 performance for high-frequency LAN signaling
• Length: 15 metres
• Connector type: RJ45 termination (standard 8P8C)
• Profile: flat, low-profile cable jacket for easy routing
• Color: grey
• Flexibility: slim, bend-friendly construction suitable for tight spaces

How to use

Route the flat Cat.7 cable from your network device to the destination, pressing it into place along skirting boards, under carpets or behind furniture where required. Ensure both RJ45 ends are fully inserted into the network ports until they click to confirm a secure connection. For best performance, avoid tight kinks and sharp bends at the connector ends and keep the cable separated from strong electromagnetic sources where practical. Test the connection after installation to verify link speed and stability.

Recommendations

For optimal long-term performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-power electrical cables and keep bend radius gentle near connectors. Use cable clips or adhesive channels for neat routing on walls or skirting boards and verify device network settings to ensure the Cat.7 cable delivers intended throughput.
