Pyörösahanterä OEM 42406, 400 mm halkaisija, 30 mm reikä, 60 hammasta

Circular Saw Blade OEM 42406 is a 400 mm diameter carbide-tipped blade with a 30 mm bore and 60 teeth. It is designed for cross-cutting and ripping of solid wood and wood-based panels, delivering a fine cut finish with reduced tear-out. The blade fits table saws and sliding compound saws that accept a 400 mm blade and a 30 mm arbor.

Advantages

The carbide-tipped teeth maintain sharpness longer than standard steel, enabling consistent cutting performance and extended service life. Sixty teeth provide a balance between cutting speed and finish quality, producing smoother edges and minimizing splintering on face veneer and laminated panels. The 400 mm diameter offers sufficient cutting depth for many workshop and professional applications while remaining compatible with common stationary saws.

Suitable for

• Cross-cutting solid wood to achieve clean end grains
• Rip-cutting boards and planks with improved edge quality
• Cutting plywood, MDF, particleboard and laminated panels with reduced tear-out
• Use in table saws and sliding compound saws with a 30 mm arbor and 400 mm blade capacity

When it may not be suitable

This blade is optimized for wood and wood-based panels; it is not intended for cutting metals, masonry, ceramics, or other non-wood materials. For very fast rough ripping where finish is not important, a blade with fewer teeth and a more aggressive tooth geometry may perform faster. Ensure your saw’s maximum blade diameter, arbor size, and RPM rating match the blade specifications before installation.

Key specifications

• Blade diameter: 400 mm
• Bore (arbor) diameter: 30 mm
• Tooth count: 60 teeth
• Tooth tip material: carbide-tipped
• Application: cross-cutting and ripping of wood and wood-based panels

How to use

Install the blade on a compatible saw with a 30 mm arbor and verify the saw is powered off and unplugged before mounting. Confirm the blade rotation direction matches the saw’s arrow marking and tighten the arbor flange to the manufacturer’s torque specification. Use appropriate blade guards, riving knives, and push sticks. Adjust saw fence and blade height for the intended cut type: set lower for thin panels and higher for deeper rips. Allow the blade to reach full speed before feeding the workpiece and feed at a steady, controlled rate to avoid burning or chipping.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm your saw accepts a 400 mm blade and a 30 mm arbor.
• Match the blade tooth count and geometry to the types of cuts you perform most often (fine finish vs. rough ripping).
• Check your saw’s maximum RPM rating to ensure safe operation with a 400 mm blade.

Recommendations

For best results when cutting veneered or laminated panels, face the finished side down to reduce surface splintering. Periodically inspect the carbide tips for wear and replace the blade when cutting quality degrades. Use appropriate personal protective equipment, and follow the saw manufacturer’s maintenance and safety guidelines.
