Patchkaapeli Goobay CAT 5e SF/UTP valkoinen 20 m

The Goobay CAT 5e Patch Cable SF/UTP in white and 20 m length is a network connection cable designed for stable, high-speed data transmission in home and office environments. It combines SF/UTP shielding, gold-plated RJ-45 plugs and durable inner conductors to ensure reliable signal quality and reduced interference for gigabit-capable networks.

Advantages

This CAT 5e cable offers SF/UTP shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference, gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for improved contact and conductivity, and robust cable sheathing for mechanical protection and long service life. The 20 m length provides flexibility when linking devices across rooms or within wiring cabinets.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in home networks
• Wiring office workstations and network devices
• Patch connections in server cabinets and network distribution panels

Key specifications

• Standard: CAT 5e
• Shielding: SF/UTP (braid + foil over pairs with unshielded drain/individual pairs)
• Connector: RJ-45 with gold plating
• Maximum data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (1 Gbit/s)
• Length: 20 m
• Colour: White
• Brand: WENTRONIC (Goobay product)
• EAN / MPN: 4040849934834

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the respective network ports of your devices (PC, switch, router or patch panel) until they click into place. Ensure that connectors are fully seated to maintain a stable connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and do not place it under mechanical stress. For installations in cabinets, use cable management to prevent pinching and maintain the shielding performance.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or large electrical devices to reduce potential interference. Use the 20 m length for horizontal runs or patch connections; for longer backbone links, consider higher-category cables (CAT6/CAT6a) if higher bandwidth or future-proofing is required.
