Lukkopihdit Knipex 87 26 250

The Knipex 87 26 250 tongue-and-groove pliers provide reliable gripping and turning of pipes and nuts. Adjustment is performed by placing the upper gripping jaw on the workpiece and closing the pliers, allowing a quick and secure fit. Made of chrome vanadium electric steel with forged, oil-hardened construction, these pliers combine slim head geometry and a box-joint design for good access and high stability.

Advantages

Adjustment by shifting one jaw directly onto the workpiece ensures fast, reliable and comfortable handling. The pliers open at the touch of a button away from the workpiece and feature fine adjustment for optimum adaptation to different workpiece sizes and a comfortable handle width. Slim head and joint area provide good access to the workpiece. The tool self-locks on pipes and nuts to prevent slipping and reduce hand force. Gripping surfaces have special hardened teeth (approx. 61 HRC) for high wear resistance and stable gripping. A guard protects fingers from being pinched.

Suitable for

• Gripping and turning pipes up to 50 mm diameter
• Holding and turning nuts up to 46 mm across flats
• General mechanical and plumbing tasks requiring adjustable pliers
