Key specifications

• Quantity: 50 pencils per pack
• Lead hardness: 2B (soft, dark)
• Core diameter: 3 mm
• Barrel shape: triangular for ergonomic grip
• Colour: red lacquer finish
• Intended use: sketching, writing, shading

How to use

Hold the triangular barrel between thumb and forefinger to take advantage of the ergonomic shape; this promotes correct grip and reduces hand strain. Sharpen using a compatible sharpener that accepts a 3 mm core to avoid breakage and maintain a fine point. Use with a light touch for fine lines and increase pressure for darker, broader strokes. Store the pencils in a dry place to prevent softening of the wood or lead damage.

Recommendations

For classroom sets and shared environments, label containers and keep spare sharpeners nearby. When sketching, combine 2B pencils with harder grades for detail work or softer grades for deeper shading. Replace worn-down points promptly to maintain line consistency and reduce the risk of core breakage.
