Verkkokaapeli EFB Elektronik EC020200247 RJ-45 Cat8.1 1,5 m keltainen

The EFB Elektronik EC020200247 RJ-45 Cat8.1 1.5 m Yellow is a high-performance network cable designed for demanding wired connections. Built to Cat8.1 specification with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 contacts, this 1.5 m cable supports multi-gigabit and data center class connections with up to 40000 Mbit/s throughput. The flexible yellow jacket makes the cable easy to identify in patch panels and office setups while maintaining reliable signal integrity for Ethernet, LAN and high-speed internet links.

Advantages

Cat8.1 standard and S/FTP shielding reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, preserving signal quality over short, high-speed runs. Gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure consistent contact conductivity. The RJ-45 termination provides compatibility with standard Ethernet ports, while the 1.5 m length balances reach and cable management in racks, desks, and media centers. The yellow outer jacket improves visibility for cable tracing and organized installations.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections in small offices and home networks
• Patch panel and switch uplinks in server rooms and data centers
• Multi-gigabit workstations and networked storage devices
• Short runs requiring shielded cabling to minimize interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Length: 1.5 m
• Outer colour: Yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (router, switch, NIC) and the other RJ-45 plug to the corresponding port on the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and minimize proximity to strong electromagnetic sources. For rack or panel installations, secure the cable using cable ties or management clips to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 S/FTP cable for short, high-speed links where shielding is needed to maintain signal integrity. Avoid repeated heavy bending near the connector ends and keep the cable away from unshielded power lines to preserve maximum performance.
