Place the WA-5 in your basement near the washing machine, plug the appliance into its integrated Schuko socket, and if water reaches the sensor electrodes, a piercing 85 dB alarm sounds while the socket cuts power to the connected device. This plug-in water detector from M-E MODERN-ELECTRONICS is a practical safeguard for laundry rooms, boiler rooms, kitchens, and server rooms where leaks can cause costly damage.

Why choose it

Ideal use cases

• Basements and cellars with washing machines or water heaters
• Laundry rooms and utility areas
• Kitchens near dishwashers or sinks
• Bathrooms with potential overflow risks
• Server rooms and technical cabinets
• Boiler rooms and heating installations

Good to know

The WA-5 is a wired device, so no batteries or wireless configuration are needed. Simply plug it into a standard Schuko wall socket, connect your appliance, and place the sensor on the floor. The manual reset ensures you are aware of the incident before power is restored.
