Overview

The Maclean MCTV-945 is an active omnidirectional antenna engineered for modern digital TV reception. It supports DVB-T and DVB-T2 standards, including H.265/HEVC, H.264/MPEG-4, and MPEG-2 codecs, ensuring compatibility with both current and legacy broadcasts. The built-in low-noise amplifier (<3 dB noise figure) enhances weak signals without adding distortion, making it ideal for indoor use or portable outdoor setups.

What stands out

• Omnidirectional design captures signals from all directions without manual aiming.
• Magnetic base with strong hold attaches securely to metal surfaces like car roofs or metal shelves.
• USB-powered amplifier draws less than 30 mA, so it can run off a TV's USB port or any USB charger.
• LED power indicator confirms active operation at a glance.
• 3-meter coaxial cable with IEC male connector provides flexible placement options.
