Mekaaninen TKL-pelikannettava näppäimistö STEELSERIES Apex 3 TKL US RGB taustavalolla, tenkeyless, US-asettelu

The STEELSERIES Apex 3 TKL US RGB Backlit is a tenkeyless gaming keyboard with a US layout designed for compact desktop arrangements. It combines a reduced footprint without a numeric keypad, programmable keys, dedicated media controls, and RGB backlighting to support both gaming and everyday typing tasks. The keyboard features splash-resistant construction, enabling continued use in environments where accidental spills may occur, and its mechanical-style keycaps and actuation are tuned for responsive keystrokes while maintaining a quieter profile than full mechanical switches.

Advantages

The tenkeyless form factor frees desk space and improves mouse movement area without sacrificing core keyboard functionality. RGB backlighting provides customizable illumination across keys to improve visibility in low-light conditions and to match system aesthetics. Programmable keys and onboard profiles allow users to map macros and shortcuts for gaming or productivity. Media controls offer direct access to volume and playback without leaving an active application. Splash-resistant design adds practical durability for everyday use.

Suitable for

• PC gamers who prefer a compact, tenkeyless layout
• Users with limited desk space or multi-monitor setups
• Streamers and content creators who need programmable keys and quick media control
• Office and home users seeking a durable keyboard with RGB illumination

Key specifications

• Form factor: Tenkeyless (TKL), reduced footprint without numeric keypad
• Layout: US (ANSI) layout with standard key spacing
• Backlighting: RGB per-key or zone illumination with adjustable brightness and effects
• Switch type: Mechanical-style low-noise switches designed for responsive actuation
• Construction: Splash-resistant housing to protect against accidental spills
• Controls: Dedicated media keys and multimedia controls

How to use

Connect the keyboard to a compatible PC using the included USB cable; the wired connection provides immediate recognition and low-latency input. Adjust RGB lighting, program macros, and configure key mappings using the manufacturer’s software or onboard profile features if supported. Use the dedicated media controls to manage audio playback and volume without switching windows. The tenkeyless layout operates like a standard keyboard but without the numeric keypad, so some users may need to adjust to reduced key count for numeric entry.

Recommendations

Place the keyboard on a stable surface and allow sufficient cable routing to avoid tension on the connector. For cleaning, power down the computer and use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe keycaps and the top surface; avoid pouring liquids directly onto the keyboard despite its splash-resistant design. Use the companion software to save profiles to onboard memory if you switch systems frequently, and consider using a wrist rest for extended typing sessions to improve ergonomics.
