Metabo P 4500 Inox vesipumppu

The Metabo P 4500 Inox is a stainless-steel garden water pump designed for transferring water efficiently in domestic and garden applications. Equipped with a 1300 W motor, the pump delivers up to 4500 litres per hour and can generate a maximum pressure of 4.8 bar, achieving delivery heights up to 48 metres. Constructed with corrosion-resistant stainless steel and an IPX4 protection rating, the unit is intended for outdoor installation where splash resistance and robust materials are required. Compact dimensions make the pump suitable for placement in garden sheds, near wells, or in small utility spaces.

Advantages

The pump combines a high-power 1300 W motor with a stainless-steel housing to provide reliable performance and extended service life in garden environments. Its high flow rate and significant delivery head allow for rapid water transfer and flexible installation options. The IPX4 splash protection supports outdoor use, while the compact footprint simplifies positioning and storage. The construction minimizes maintenance needs and resists wear from regular garden use.

Suitable for

• Watering lawns, flower beds and vegetable gardens
• Filling and emptying garden ponds or water features
• Transferring water from wells, rainwater tanks or storage cisterns
• Boosting water pressure for outdoor taps and irrigation systems

How to use

Place the pump on a firm, level surface close to the water source and check that the suction and discharge connections are compatible with your hoses or pipes. Connect the suction line and discharge line securely, ensuring all fittings are tightened and free of leaks. Connect the pump to a 220–240 V AC power supply using a properly earthed outlet. Prime the pump if required by filling the suction line to remove air pockets, then start the motor and monitor operation for steady flow and normal noise levels. After use, turn off the power, disconnect electrical supply, and drain the pump and connected hoses if there is risk of freezing or prolonged inactivity.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, avoid pumping liquids containing large amounts of solids or abrasive materials. Use appropriate filter or strainer on the suction side to reduce debris intake, and follow periodic visual inspections of seals and connections. Store the pump indoors during freezing conditions and perform routine checks of electrical connections and mounting stability to maintain safe outdoor use.
