Kuituliitin SC BTR NETCOM 1509MAEO0010-F

The BTR NETCOM 1509MAEO0010-F SC fibre optic connector is designed for use with OM3 and OM4 multimode fibre cables. Supplied in a pack of ten, each connector has an aqua-colored housing and an SC form factor that provides reliable, repeatable connections for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling systems and network equipment.

Advantages

This SC connector offers stable optical performance and low insertion loss when paired with OM3/OM4 multimode fibres. The standard SC interface ensures compatibility with a wide range of patch panels, couplers, and transceivers. The aqua color coding simplifies identification for multimode OM3/OM4 applications, and the pack quantity of ten supports small installation jobs or spare-part provisioning.

Suitable for

• Data center trunking and patching with OM3/OM4 multimode fibre
• LAN and SAN multimode fibre links
• Upgrades and repairs of existing multimode fibre networks
• Use in patch panels, adapter panels and fibre couplers with SC ports

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC (standard square interface)
• Fiber compatibility: OM3 / OM4 multimode
• Color: aqua (typical multimode OM3/OM4 coding)
• Pack quantity: 10 pieces
• Application: multimode optical data transmission, patching and splicing environments

How to use

Prepare the OM3/OM4 multimode fibre according to standard fibre termination procedures: strip, clean, cleave and inspect the fibre endface. Install the SC connector following the manufacturer's termination instructions for either field-installable or pre-polished assemblies, ensuring proper alignment and secure retention. After termination, measure insertion loss and return loss to verify optical performance meets network requirements before finalizing the connection in patch panels or equipment.

Recommendations

Handle fibre connectors with care to avoid contamination of endfaces; use appropriate cleaning tools and inspect endfaces with a microscope before mating. Store unused connectors in protective caps and keep the aqua color coding consistent with OM3/OM4 network documentation to reduce installation errors.
