How to use

Identify the SFF-8644 and SFF-8088 ports on your devices. Firmly insert the SFF-8644 connector into the Mini SAS HD x4 port and the SFF-8088 connector into the Mini SAS x4 port until each connector is fully seated. Route the 2 m cable to avoid sharp bends and interference from power cables. Power off devices before connecting or disconnecting if your equipment documentation recommends it; otherwise follow hot-swap procedures supported by your hardware.

Recommendations

For optimal signal reliability, keep cable bends above the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius, avoid tight cable bundles with power lines, and verify compatibility with your RAID controller or host adapter and external enclosure. Inspect connectors for damage before use.
