Microconnect B-UTP675SOUT verkkokaapeli musta 75 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

The Microconnect B-UTP675SOUT RJ-45 Cat6 75 m Black is an outdoor-rated Cat6 patch cable designed for reliable data transmission in exterior environments. With a 75 m length and RJ-45 connectors at both ends, this U/UTP cable supports Cat6 performance up to 250 MHz and data rates up to 10,000 Mbit/s. The cable features a double PE outer jacket that increases resistance to moisture and UV exposure, and it is backwards compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 installations.

Advantages

This networking cable offers outdoor durability due to its double polyethylene (PE) outer jacket that provides water resistance and UV protection. It is tested to the Cat6 standard (up to 250 MHz) and remains compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 equipment. The U/UTP construction reduces external interference, and the integrated snagless design helps protect the RJ-45 connectors during installation in constrained spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting outdoor surveillance cameras and security systems
• Wiring along building facades and exterior installations
• Garden, campsite or other outdoor network connections
• Indoor use where higher mechanical protection is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: Unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP), Cat6
• Frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Data rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s
• Length: 75 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Outer jacket: double PE (water and UV resistant)
• Colour: Black
• Weight: 2.1 kg

How to use

Route the cable between network devices and terminate each end with the RJ-45 connectors provided, ensuring secure connections in patch panels, switches or cameras. When installing outdoors, avoid direct contact with sharp edges and fasten the cable with appropriate clips or ties without over-tightening to prevent damage to the jacket. For long runs, maintain recommended bending radius and avoid excessive tension during pulling.

Recommendations

For outdoor installations, use appropriate conduit or UV-resistant clips where possible and confirm local building codes for external cable routing. Although the cable has enhanced outer protection, do not bury it directly without proper conduit or additional protection designed for direct burial.
