How to use

Plug the DisplayPort end into the DisplayPort output on your source device and connect an HDMI cable from the adapter’s HDMI port to the HDMI input on your monitor, TV or projector. Power on both devices and select the correct HDMI input on the display. If necessary, adjust the display settings on the source device (resolution, duplicate/extend display) to match your requirements.

Recommendations

For best results use high-quality HDMI cables and ensure your source device supports output over DisplayPort. This adapter converts a DisplayPort signal to HDMI; it does not convert the other way. If audio is not transmitted, check that the source device’s audio output is set to the DisplayPort/HDMI output in system settings.
