The adapter supports image transfer only and does not carry audio.

Advantages

This adapter offers a compact, lightweight design for easy transport and installation. It converts HDMI output to a VGA input without requiring external power, and its RoHS certification ensures compliance with common environmental standards. The white finish and small form factor make it suitable for discreet setups.

How to use

Connect the HDMI end of the Microconnect HDMVGA2 to the HDMI output of your source device and plug the VGA (D-Sub) end into the VGA input of your monitor or projector. Select the correct input on the display and configure the output resolution on the source device if necessary. Because the adapter only transfers video, audio must be handled separately if required.

Recommendations

Use with devices that output standard HDMI video signals and displays that accept analog VGA input. For best results set the source device to a resolution supported by the VGA display. If audio is needed, use a separate audio connection from the source device.
