Microconnect SFTP715 verkkokaapeli harmaa 15 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SFTP715 RJ-45 Cat7 15 m Grey is a shielded networking cable designed for reliable wired connections between network devices such as switches, modems, routers or wall outlets and patch panels. Built to the Cat7 standard and tested up to 600 MHz, the 15 m cable uses S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors and is suitable for home and small office network and entertainment setups. It is backward compatible with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 cabling.

Advantages

The SFTP715 offers higher bandwidth and improved signal integrity compared with lower-category cables by using Cat7 construction tested up to 600 MHz together with S/FTP shielding that reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk. It uses standard RJ-45 connectors for broad compatibility and includes a reinforced strain relief to protect the connector during installation in confined spaces. The cable's grey jacket provides a neutral appearance for visible installations.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between switches, routers and modems
• Patch panel to wall outlet or keystone jack connections
• Home and small office networks
• Streaming and entertainment systems requiring stable wired links

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the Microconnect SFTP715 to a network device (for example a router, modem or switch) and the other end to the destination device, patch panel or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid placing it close to strong sources of electrical noise despite the shielding; allow some slack to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this SFTP Cat7 cable for fixed wired connections where stable, high-bandwidth links are required. When installing through tight conduits or confined spaces, guide the cable gently and avoid excessive pulling to protect the connector and the integrated strain relief.
