Microconnect SSTP6015O verkkokaapeli oranssi 1,5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The MicroConnect SSTP6015O is a 1.5 m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It supports Cat6 performance up to 250 MHz and high-speed data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s. The cable has an orange jacket for visibility and includes a shielded construction to reduce electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for home and small office network connections, patch panels and connections to switches, modems or routers.

Advantages

This Cat6 S/FTP cable provides shielding to protect against EMI and reduce crosstalk, maintaining signal integrity and reliable data transmission. It is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 installations and features latch protection on the RJ-45 connectors to prevent damage during installation in tight spaces. The 1.5 m length offers a convenient connection between nearby devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches, routers and modems
• Patch panel and keystone jack connections
• Home and small office networks
• Audio/video and entertainment network setups

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6 (tested up to 250 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Orange
• Compatibility: Backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding ports on your devices (switch, router, modem or network interface). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and prolonged compression; the latch protection helps when passing the connector through constrained spaces. For permanent installations, use appropriate cable management and secure the cable to avoid strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable in shielded or grounded installations when connecting equipment near potential sources of electromagnetic interference. Avoid excessive bending and keep the cable length appropriate for the application to maintain signal quality.
