Microconnect V-UTP607W-FLAT verkkokaapeli valkoinen 7 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

The Microconnect V-UTP607W-FLAT is a flat U/UTP Cat6 networking cable with a length of 7 m and white jacket. Designed for installations where space is limited, this cable supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and complies with Cat6 performance up to 250 MHz while remaining backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5.

Advantages

The flat design enables installation in narrow gaps such as behind baseboards or under carpets and saves space in IT racks and cabinets. U/UTP construction provides standard Cat6 performance up to 250 MHz. Each cable includes a strain-relief feature on the connector to reduce the risk of damage during installation in tight routes.

Suitable for

• Home and small office wired Ethernet connections
• Runs behind skirting boards or under flooring
• Tight cable channels in racks and cabinets
• Upgrading from Cat5/Cat5e to Cat6 performance

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6 (tested up to 250 MHz)
• Construction: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs, overall unshielded)
• Length: 7 m
• Colour: White
• Data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Compatibility: backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5
• Weight: 0.04 kg

How to use

Route the flat cable through the intended path, keeping bends gentle to avoid excessive stress on the conductor pairs. Push the connector into the RJ45 socket until it clicks; the integrated strain-relief helps protect the plug during insertion in narrow spaces. Use cable clips or adhesive channels for neat runs along skirting boards or under carpets. For rack or cabinet installs, lay the cable flat to maximize space savings.

Recommendations

Install the cable in dry, indoor environments and avoid sharp folds or compression under heavy furniture. For best performance, keep the cable length within Ethernet standards and avoid running it parallel and close to high-voltage power lines to minimize interference.
