The Behringer X-TOUCH MINI is an ultra-compact USB MIDI controller designed to provide hands-on control of DAWs, virtual instruments, effects and compatible lighting software. The unit integrates eight rotary knobs with LED collars, 16 illuminated buttons including transport controls, and a 60 mm master fader. It connects via USB bus power and USB/MIDI interface for immediate plug-and-play use with Mac and PC systems. Its small footprint (325 mm × 102 mm × 47 mm) and low typical power consumption (1.26 W) make it suitable for mobile and desktop production setups.

How to use

Connect the X-TOUCH MINI to your computer using the supplied USB cable; the device is bus-powered and should be recognized by your operating system as a MIDI controller. Use the knobs, buttons and master fader to control parameters in your DAW or instrument plugin; transport buttons provide direct control over playback functions. Switch between the two available layers to control different applications or parameter sets without reassigning controls. For custom mappings and deeper configuration, install Behringer's editor application to create and upload user presets.

Recommendations

Position the controller within easy reach of your main workstation surface to maintain ergonomic access during sessions. When using in mobile setups, keep the unit in a padded compartment to protect knobs and fader. If controlling multiple applications, preconfigure one layer for DAW functions and the other for instrument or lighting control to minimize mode switching during performance.
