Mikrofoni ShiverPeaks ShiverPeaks maximum connectivity XLR-jatkokaapeli 2,0 m 56525

The ShiverPeaks maximum connectivity XLR extension 2.0 m is a professional-grade microphone extension cable designed to extend XLR connections while preserving audio integrity. At two meters in length, it provides a reliable physical link between microphone and mixer, preamp or stage box without introducing audible degradation. The cable is constructed with durable XLR connectors and shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for studio and live environments where consistent, low-noise transmission is required.

Advantages

This XLR extension maintains balanced signal transfer to minimize hum and noise over the 2.0 m run. Robust connector housings and strain relief improve mechanical reliability under frequent plug-and-play use. The shielding and conductor geometry are selected to preserve clarity and transient detail in vocal and instrument signals, and the cable’s length offers flexibility in microphone placement without compromising signal quality.

Suitable for

• Recording studios for microphone and outboard equipment routing
• Live sound setups where additional cable reach is needed
• Broadcast and podcasting environments requiring balanced connections
• Stage and rehearsal spaces to connect microphones to mixers or DI boxes

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2.0 meters
• Connector type: 3-pin XLR male to 3-pin XLR female
• Balanced audio transmission for low-noise operation
• Shielding: foil and/or braid shielding to reduce interference
• Durable metal connector housings with strain relief
• Suitable for professional audio signals (microphone level and line level extension)

How to use

Connect the female XLR end to the microphone output and the male XLR end to the input on your mixer, preamp or audio interface. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain a secure electrical contact and reduce the risk of intermittent noise. Route the cable to avoid running parallel to power lines or heavy electrical equipment to minimize hum and interference. For longer runs combine with additional balanced cable segments and use proper cable management to prevent tripping hazards.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the ShiverPeaks XLR extension in balanced audio chains and avoid coiling tightly when storing. Inspect connectors periodically and keep contacts clean; when used with phantom-powered condenser microphones, verify secure connections before applying phantom power.
