Mitel EXT WAR SMBC Trunk-kortti 4FXO

For Mitel MiVoice Office 250 deployments that need dependable analog PSTN connectivity, the EXT WAR SMBC Trunk Card 4FXO stands apart from generic expansion modules by delivering four Foreign Exchange Office ports in a single internal card. This card is purpose-built for the Mitel 5000 HX, 5000 CP, and MiVoice Office 250 platforms, ensuring seamless integration without the compatibility guesswork that plagues third-party alternatives. Each FXO port supports analog loop-start signaling, allowing the system to connect directly to standard telephone company lines for inbound and outbound calling. The card installs into a controller slot and draws power from the PBX, eliminating extra power bricks and simplifying rack or wall-mount setups. LED indicators on the card provide at-a-glance status for each port, so technicians can quickly verify line presence and activity during installation or troubleshooting. While not hot-swappable, the card’s TDM architecture guarantees low-latency voice transport, a critical factor for businesses that rely on clear, uninterrupted conversations. Whether you are adding capacity to a growing office or replacing a failed trunk module, this card delivers the reliability and performance expected from Mitel’s small-to-medium business communications portfolio.

Highlights

• Four FXO ports for analog PSTN line termination
• Compatible with Mitel 5000 HX, 5000 CP, and MiVoice Office 250
• Loop-start signaling for standard telephone company interfaces
• Internal slot-based installation with PBX power supply
• LED status indicators for each port
• TDM technology for low-latency voice

In daily use

Deploying the 4FXO trunk card means your Mitel system can handle up to four simultaneous analog calls, whether they are incoming from customers or outgoing to suppliers. The card is ideal for offices that still rely on traditional copper lines but want the advanced features of the MiVoice Office 250, such as unified messaging and auto-attendant. Installation is straightforward: power down the controller, insert the card into an available slot, and secure it. After boot, the system automatically recognizes the card, and the LEDs confirm line connectivity. Because the card uses the PBX’s own power, there are no external adapters to manage, keeping the wiring closet clean. In environments with fluctuating temperatures or humidity, the card’s operating range of 0°C to 40°C and 10% to 90% non-condensing humidity ensures stable performance. For businesses that need to scale, multiple cards can be installed (subject to system capacity), providing a flexible path to more trunk lines without replacing the entire PBX.
