How to use

Pull the tape blade from the housing and hook the end onto the edge or corner of the object being measured. Keep the blade straight and read the measurement at the point where the tape meets the object. Retract the blade back into the case by releasing any lock and guiding the tape in to avoid slamming. Use the casing or belt clip to carry the tape between jobs.

Recommendations

Store the tape measure in a dry place and avoid exposing the blade to corrosive substances. Retract the blade slowly to prevent damage to the tape or housing and to maintain accuracy. For precise layout work, confirm measurements against a secondary tool where needed.
