The MODECOM Volcano Space XL was designed to ensure that your components always work in optimal conditions. As standard, you get five high-performance ARGB fans: three 140 mm fans on the side panel (in a reversed layout) and two 140 mm fans at the back of the case. This setup provides efficient airflow that effectively cools the processor and graphics card, even during intense and long gaming sessions. If you need even more cooling options, the MODECOM Volcano Space XL gives you full freedom to expand. On the top panel, you can install an additional three 120 mm fans, and in the bottom section up to three 120 or 140 mm fans. Additionally, near the PSU shroud, there is space for two more 120 or 140 mm fans if you are not using a top-mounted water-cooling system. More fans mean more stable temperatures and higher performance - and for advanced components, its a necessity. | Chassis type: Big Tower | Form-factor: ATX | Form-factor: Micro ATX | Form-factor: ITX | Form-factor: E-ATX | Side panel: Tempered Glass | Computer case backlight: No | No. of drive bays: 7 | Drive bays 2.5'' intern.: 4 | Drive bays 2.5'' extern.: 0 | Drive bays 3.5'' intern.: 3 | Drive bays 3.5'' extern.: 0 | Drive bays 5.25'' intern.: 0 | Drive bays 5.25'' extern.: 0 | Power supply: Failure | Number of fans installed: 5 | Fans installed: 3 x 140 mm ARGB (motherboard tray) | Fans installed: 2 x 140 mm ARGB (back) | Maximum number of fans: 13 | Optional fans: 3 x 120 mm (top) | Optional fans: 2 x 120 mm lub 2 x 140 mm (power supply shroud) | Optional fans: 3 x 120 mm or 3 x 140 mm (bottom) | Ooptional water cooling: 1 x 120 mm (back) | Ooptional water cooling: 1 x 140 mm (back) | Ooptional water cooling: 1 x 240 mm (back) | Ooptional water cooling: 1 x 280 mm (back) | Ooptional water cooling: 1 x 120 mm (top) | Ooptional water cooling: 1 x 240 mm (góra) | Ooptional water cooling: 1 x 360 mm (top) | Ooptional water cooling: 1 x 120 mm (bottom) | Ooptional water cooling: 1 x 240 mm (bottom) | Ooptional water cooling: 1 x 280 mm (bottom) | Ooptional water cooling: 1 x 360 mm (bottom) | Ooptional water cooling: 1 x 420 mm (bottom) | Ooptional water cooling: 1 x 120 mm (motherboard tray) | Ooptional water cooling: 1 x 240 mm (motherboard tray) | Ooptional water cooling: 1 x 280 mm (motherboard tray) | Ooptional water cooling: 1 x 360 mm (motherboard tray) | Ooptional water cooling: 1 x 420 mm (motherboard tray) | Number of slots for expansion cards: 8 | Front panel connectors: 1 x UB1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-CavS 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C | Front panel connectors: Light control | Front panel connectors: 2 x USB 3.0 | Front panel connectors: 1 x mic/headphone (combo) | Maximum length of the graphics card: 440 | Maximum CPU cooling height: 180 | Maximum length of the power supply: 260 | Compatible power supply standard: ATX | Color: Black | Dimensions: 548 x 245 x 491 mm | Weight: 11.9

How to use

Install the motherboard and components following the motherboard and component manufacturers' instructions. Fit storage drives into the designated 2.5" or 3.5" bays and route cables through the cable management channels to maintain airflow. Mount the graphics card and CPU cooler ensuring their dimensions do not exceed the case limits. Connect front-panel USB, audio and ARGB headers to the corresponding motherboard pins and secure all panels before powering the system. A compatible ATX power supply must be installed separately.

Recommendations

During assembly, handle tempered glass panels carefully and be aware of sharp metal edges. Plan fan placement for optimal airflow—using the included 140 mm fans at the sides and rear plus additional fans at the top or bottom as needed—and ensure ARGB connections match your motherboard or controller specifications.
