Momenttiavaimen kärki EK Water Blocks EK-Quantum Torque HDC 16 hopea 1/4 inch kuusikulma

EK Water Blocks EK-Quantum Torque HDC 16 Silver 1/4" hex is a torque wrench end fitting in a silver finish designed for use with 1/4" hex keys. It functions as a replaceable or spare adapter for torque-controlled tightening of fittings and fasteners in custom liquid-cooling systems, enabling precise torque application and consistent connector installation. The fitting is part of EK's minimalistic 16mm hard-tube compression fitting family for solid tubing such as acrylic and PETG and features an interchangeable aesthetic ring system (rings sold separately).

Advantages

The fitting is CNC-machined from brass with a high-quality nickel finish on the barb and compression rings, and uses rubber O-rings for sealing. A locking compression ring compresses an internal rubber gasket to prevent the solid tube from being pulled out, while external grooves provide improved hand-tightening grip. The compression ring includes cutouts that expose a separately sold colored aesthetic ring. The barb interior is socketed with a 9mm hex Allen key pattern to accept torque wrench or Allen key operation and reduce fingertip damage during installation.

Suitable for

• Torque-controlled tightening of fittings and fasteners in custom liquid-cooling loops
• Compression connections on 16 mm hard tubing (Acrylic, PETG)
• Replacement or spare adapter for EK-Quantum series fittings

Key specifications

• Material: CNC-machined brass components with nickel finish
• Seal type: rubber O-ring
• Compression fitting size: 16 mm hard-tube compatibility
• Drive interface: internal 9 mm hex pattern for torque wrench / Allen key
• Finish color: silver

How to use

Install the fitting onto a prepared 16 mm hard tube by sliding the compression ring and, if used, the aesthetic ring onto the tube, inserting the tube into the fitting barb, and tightening the compression ring until the internal gasket is compressed. Use a 9 mm hex Allen key or compatible torque wrench inserted into the internal hex pattern to apply controlled torque; avoid excessive force to prevent damage to fittings or connected components. Verify the seal by inspecting the rubber O-ring seating and, after system fill, check for leaks at operating pressure.

Recommendations

Use EK-Quantum Torque HDC 16 Silver with compatible EK Water Blocks components for best fitment. Do not overtighten; follow recommended torque values from your torque wrench or system documentation. Aesthetic color rings are sold separately and should be installed before tightening the compression ring. Keep a 9 mm Allen key or appropriate torque adapter on hand to protect fingertips and ensure accurate torque application.
